Vampire Bait of the Week: Henry Cavill, A “Man of Steel”

Mystic Falls is full of empowered women and, usually, we wish we could be as kickass as Caroline Forbes, as sassy as Katherine Pierce, and as powerful as a witch as Bonnie Bennett. However, once in a while, it doesn’t hurt to sit back, relax, and be a damsel in distress…especially when your knight in shining armor happens to be Superman stud, Henry Cavill! While he’s not starring on The Vampire Diaries (yet), we can’t help but let our imaginations run away at the possibility of having him on the show — so we decided to do the next best thing and bestow him with the honor of being this week’s “Vampire Bait.”

It’s no secret that we’re huge fans of the dashing British actor (we’ve been including him in our dream casting posts for two seasons now) and his amazing repertoire which consists of roles in The Count of Monte Cristo, The Tudors, Tristan + Isolde, Stardust, Immortals and, most recently, Man of Steel. (Holler for Clark Kent!) With his muscular arms, thick dark locks, dazzling smile, and ability to rock a suit better than James Bond himself, Henry would surely feel right at home in Mystic Falls, land of the supernatural hotties. Plus, he has a sexy accent, so he’d fit in well with the Original family!
